In Western Australia, schools are required to teach WA Curriculum. This is set by the School Curriculum and Standards Authority (SCSA) and has been adopted and adapted from the Australian Curriculum to the Western Australian context.
Learning Areas
The curriculum is organised into eight (8) Learning Areas:
- The Arts
- English
- Health and Physical Education
- Languages
- Mathematics
- Science
- Humanities and Social Sciences
- Technologies.
7-10 Curriculum

Senior School Curriculum
