RUOK? Day is an Australian day of action that reminds us how important it is to check in on the people around us. The message is simple: a conversation can change a life.
On Thursday 10 September at Recess, students can connect with the team from Headspace Karratha. We’ll also have a free sausage sizzle, cake, face painting and music in the Quad at lunchtime. By checking-in with a friend in front of our Year Coordinators, or answering a question about RU OK? Day, students will receive a token for the sausage sizzle or cake.
If you ever feel like you’re not OK, it’s important to reach out to someone you trust—a friend, teacher, family member, or school support staff. You deserve support and you’re never expected to deal with things alone.
Remember, asking “Are you OK?” could make a bigger difference than you realise, so join us in the Quad and be part of the conversation.
